Our objectives
- To fund a multi-tiered research project to improve our understanding of brain tumour biology and improve current treatment strategies
- Raise public awareness of the need for brain tumour research and the lack of funding currently available
- Establishment at Charing Cross Hospital of an international centre of excellence for neuro-oncology
How we’re achieving our goals
- by providing funding for the BTRC research team
- by promoting neurological and medical research
- by publishing the results thereof to the public by seminars, press articles and medical journals
- lobbying with other brain tumour charities to create awareness in public and private sectors
